I am a seasoned graphic and web design professional with extensive experience as a computer technician. I have developed my solid people skills over years of working in teams, both as a sales manager and as a freelancer assisting clients with major projects. My excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – stem from my early fascination with language and literature. I also understand the importance of deadlines, based on my experiences as a newspaper ad designer.
Though I am extensively versed in a wide variety of web and design tools, I do have a few favourites. For graphic design, my tool of choice is Adobe Fireworks, backed up with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. For web design, I prefers Adobe Dreamweaver, supported by Notepad++.
In late 2009, I decided to return to school and study sociology full-time. In 2011, I was accepted to the University of British Columbia where I will continue studying sociology. I hope to continue my studies at York University and to complete my studies at the University of California Berkeley. I am still working to reconcile my desire to be a vegetarian with my love for eating fish.
